This was a loooooong weekend!

And this was a long weekend (4 days!!!!!). So I had a lot of time for my crafts, and was very creative. I made some more neck warmers, this time with another yarn and a different design: pattern, size...

Here's the pattern (both are the same, in different colors):
  • Chain 22 to begin
  • ROW 1: starting in the second chain from the hook, *work one dc stitch, then one tr in the next chain* . Repeat * * until the end of row. If you finish with a dc, chain 2 and turn but if you finish with a tr chain 1 and turn.
  • ROW 2: where there was a dc, work a tr stitch, then a dc in the next stitch (where there was a tr in the previous row). Repeat until the end of row: one dc, one tr. Chain 1 or 2 and turn.
You get a very nice pattern by combining these two types of stitches in the same row:

You should crochet as many rows as you like, I made these quite long to form a V neck. Try it on before deciding to stop!

For the buttons, you don't need to make any button holes if you don't choose very big buttons. This way, you can fasten them wherever you want. ;)
You just have to choose some nice buttons with nice colors that combine with the yarn!
