Out and about

Wow!!!!
I've just realised I've been out for such a long time!!!!! In fact, I have been quite busy lately... There were some good news before Christmas...

So I've barely had any free time lately. But I'm working in a new project. Some weeks ago I bought two crochet books where I found some inspiration.

I'm working on a new granny square blanket, this time for a bed (the other one I crocheted was for a cot). I guess it'll be a loooong project, as it is a bit tricky (with all the different colours, the combination of squares...) and I have'nt got so many free time now, but I love it!!!!

Happy hooky work!!!!

And the fourth!!!!

And finally...

I made a fourth neck warmer!!!!

This time for men:

The pattern is the same as in the raspberry neck warmer, only higher and longer.

Remember:
  • Chain 40 to begin
  • ROW 1: starting in the second chain from the hook, work one dc stitch into each chain. Chain 1 and turn.
  • ROW 2: one dc into each chain. Chain one and turn.
You should crochet as many rows as you need, depending on the size you need. Try it on before deciding to stop!

This time, instead of buttons, I crocheted the two ends to join them. It's even easier than the button-pattern!!!

My new project

Colors and more colors!!!!!

The pattern is from Attic24, she can do marvellous crafts in crochet. It's easier than it seems, I started doing the colorful round shapes and then I joined them while crocheting the white part.

I haven't finished it yet, I think it still needs about three rows down and then I will have to add some more rounds in both sides because I've realised it doesn't still fit the sofa, where I'm going to use it... But it's not going to take much longer!!!

Another blanket

As I did so well with my first blanket, I fancied trying to crochet another design... this time so COLORFUL!!!!!!

This time I used merino yarn, SUPER smooth and gentle to work with!

My first attempt... with such a good result!!!!

I've been working in an attempt of blanket that resulted in a nice craft... It's the first time I did something like this, but with some motherly advice I ended up doing better than I expected! There's another project in progress that helped me keep motivated (it will show up shortly, hopefully...).

This is the result, I did it in two colors, white and grey and used cotton yarn:

I'm looking forward to starting something else now!!!!!
